Session Controls
Session controls let you decide exactly what happens inside each web app your team uses. Set rules once, and they apply to every session automatically. Your team works normally. Your rules run in the background.

Decide what can be copied out of each app. Allow copy within the app but block pasting into external tools. Or allow both directions for apps that need it. Rules are set per app, so your team can copy freely where it makes sense and follow tighter rules where it matters.
Allow downloads from apps where your team needs to save files locally. Block downloads from apps where data should stay in the browser. You can also allow downloads only to specific locations or require that files be opened in the browser instead of downloaded.
Allow printing from apps where your team needs hard copies. Block printing from apps where content should stay digital. Print controls work the same way as every other session control: per app, per team, per role.
Block screen capture and screen recording for sensitive apps. When someone tries to take a screenshot of a controlled app, they see a blank area instead of the app content. This works with built-in OS tools and third-party capture software.
Control what can be uploaded into each app. Block file uploads entirely or allow only certain file types. This is especially useful for AI tools where you want your team to interact with the tool but not upload documents, spreadsheets, or other files containing sensitive information.
Add visible watermarks to any app session. Watermarks display the user's identity on screen, creating accountability without blocking access. If someone photographs or records the screen, the watermark identifies the session. Fully configurable per app.
Flexibility
Session controls are not one-size-fits-all. Set different rules for different apps, teams, and roles.
Every control is set individually for each web app. Salesforce can have different rules than Google Drive, which can have different rules than Slack. Your team gets the right level of access for each tool they use.
Different teams need different access levels. Engineering might need full copy-paste in their development tools. Finance might need tighter controls in their accounting apps. Set rules by team, group, or organizational unit.
Roles within a team often need different access too. A contractor working in the same app as a full-time employee might need different rules. dME lets you set controls by role so the right people get the right access.
Every rule change takes effect immediately across all active sessions. Update a control in the admin console and it applies to every user in real time. No sync delays, no deployment windows, no waiting.
