Use Case
Add browser-level rules to Salesforce, Workday, and more.
The Idea
Your SaaS apps have their own permissions. But those permissions only cover what happens inside the app. dME adds a layer on top - rules that work at the browser level, across every app. Control what users can do with the data they see: copy, paste, download, print, screenshot. One set of rules that applies everywhere.
Examples
dME works with any web-based application. Here are a few examples.
Control data export
Set rules for who can export reports, download attachments, or copy customer records. Apply different rules for different teams - sales reps get one set, managers get another.
Set access rules
Define who can access Workday from which devices and locations. Set session limits for sensitive HR data. Control what can be downloaded or printed from employee records.
Manage code access
Control clipboard access for code repositories. Set rules for downloading source code. Define which teams can access which repositories through the browser.
Controls
Every rule is configurable per app, per team, or per individual.
Decide what can be copied from each app. Allow copy within the app but restrict pasting outside. Different rules for different data types.
Control which file types can be downloaded from each app. Allow documents but restrict raw data exports. Log every download.
Set rules for what can be uploaded to each app. Restrict file types, file sizes, or block uploads entirely for certain teams.
Apply visible watermarks to sensitive pages. Each user sees their own identifier, which makes it easy to track where screenshots come from.
Set time limits for sessions in specific apps. Require re-authentication after a set period. Automatically end inactive sessions.
Keep a record of who accessed which apps, when, and from where. Useful for audits, troubleshooting, and understanding usage patterns.
